Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions of repair must be agreed to by every customer as part of the booking process. We will not allow a booking unless we obtain a signature from the customer verifying their acceptance of these terms.

The terms are non-negotiable and we will not make exceptions.

Terms and conditions of repair

This is a legal agreement between yourself and Mobile Phone Repair Centre Ltd., a Samsung authorised service centre.

This repair centre accepts no responsibility for any loss of data during repair or replacement of your device. Please remove any SIM cards or memory cards from your device prior to booking in, as we will not accept responsibility for any loss during service.

We do not have the facilities to store customer data and we therefore recommend that prior to your repair you should first back-up your data to a safe place. Our staff are not authorised to perform this procedure for you and we will accept no liability if you request any such service of them.

During the course of repair your device’s software may be restored to factory condition. We accept no responsibility for any SIM or network lock as a result.

We do not keep handsets in stock and cannot offer loan phones. If phone access during your repair is vital then we advise you make alternative arrangements.

Any screen protector left on the handset is done so at your own risk. Please remove them to ensure they do not get damaged during repair.

You will not usually be required to pay any charges. The cost will be covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty, unless upon inspection we deem the handset to be:

  • Liquid and/or physically damaged
  • Previously subject to an unauthorised repair
  • Rooted or subject to an unauthorised software modification
  • Lost/stolen

Any devices found to match the above conditions will be returned unrepaired and subject to a £25.00 inspection fee, which is to pay for the cost of disassembly and documentation.

Handsets will be available for collection for maximum of 45 days after repair. Any devices not collected within this period will be recycled. Please ensure that your contact telephone number is correct for notification.

You are required to bring your booking receipt with you upon collection. If you do not bring your receipt you must have photographic ID or proof of purchase. Without either of these, we will not release the device.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under applicable national laws.
